Keeping Grounded Greenhouse Program

The Keeping Grounded Greenhouse Program is a partnership between One For One and Herban Produce, a 4000 sq. ft. non-profit urban farm that provides year-round fresh produce to Garfield Park residents and select Chicago restaurant partners.
The program focuses on hands-on horticulture, greenhouse experience and employment opportunities for high school students who need them most— young adults living in violent Chicago communities with limited access to safe havens or quality employment options.
Through immersive job training and ongoing workshops during the year with partners like Mariani Landscape, young adults are given the opportunity to learn valuable skills and get hands-on job experience in a safe and nurturing environment.
